Igloofest is back!
Montréal is not a city that lets a little thing like winter stand in the way of a good time. The key to keeping warm this winter is to keep moving. Igloofest is here to get you moving, and it may just be the highlight of your winter. The Vertica Resident Services blog team wants to give you a bit of a warm up on the coolest (and coldest) music festival in the world.
When and Where
Winter is heating up with the 13th edition of Igloofest. For three unforgettable weekends, a total of 9 fun-filled nights, Igloofest 2019 rocks the Jacques-Cartier Pier in the stunningly beautiful Old-Port neighbourhood of Montréal. Weekend 1 runs from January 17th to 19th, Weekend 2 from January 24th to 26th and the final Weekend 3 closes it out from January 31st to February 2nd. Getting there is easy enough, the Pier is within walking distance of Place-d'Armes station or Champ-de-Mars station.
There is so much music to experience on 2 different stages over 3 weekends that we simply can’t cover it all! A few artists to look forward to include Diplo on the Sapporo Stage (on Friday, January 18th, weekend 1), Framedrop on the Videotron Stage (on Thursday, January 24th, weekend 2), and Quebec’s own Lis Dalton is going to make February 2nd a Groundhog Day to remember on the final day of Weekend 3.
