Many people make New Year’s resolutions to get in shape. Lots of people even join a gym in January! But invariably by February, their gym bag just gathers dust in the corner. If you’re ready to get serious about getting into shape, the Vertica Resident Services blog team wants to help. Here are a variety of workouts that will kick your butt.

30-Minute Power Vinyasa Flow

This 30-Minute Power Vinyasa Flow, with instructor Briohny Smyth, will help you build strength, stamina, flexibility and focus. All you need is a yoga mat and some water, so you can complete your workout from the comfort of your suite at The Shaughn.

20-Minute Tabata Workout

Tabata is a form of HIIT -- High Intensity Interval Training. After a quick warm up, you will perform a 40-second full-effort interval, followed by a 20-second breather and then jump straight into the next 40-second full-effort interval. This 20-Minute Tabata Workout features modifications for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

Dumbbell-Only Workout

This 4-Day Split Dumbbell-Only Workout will help you build strength and muscle fast. It’s a 12-week program and the workout will take you between 45 minutes to an hour to complete. There are 2 Upper Body and 2 Lower Body workouts. You will alternate between Upper Body and Lower Body exercises from day to day. Get ready to get ripped!
